Why Hextropian Exists
Consequential decisions need more than an answer. Teams must show which requirement applied, what evidence supported it, and how the conclusion was reached.
Organizing documents and tracking work is only part of the task. A defensible conclusion also needs a reproducible chain from requirements to procedures, evidence, and reasoning.
Hextropian was built around a different standard: evidence before assertion, deterministic reasoning where formal decisions matter, and traceability from source to conclusion.

Deterministic Reasoning
The same approved facts, evaluated by HexReason, Hextropian's proprietary, extremely fast deterministic AI engine, produce the same verdict every time. HexReason preserves the derivation so that verdict can be inspected and replayed.
Audit-Defensible Outputs
Hextropian keeps substantive results connected to cited evidence, source provenance, and inspectable reasoning, creating an auditable record that can be reviewed and reproduced.
Traceability by Design
Source identity, versions, effective dates, and the relationships among requirements, evidence, and conclusions are preserved as part of the record rather than reconstructed after the fact.
Flexible Deployment & Integration
SaaS by default, with private deployment on customer Kubernetes for qualifying engagements. HexReason is embeddable by design; specific integrations depend on suitable APIs and the agreed engagement.
Leadership
Hextropian is led by founder and CEO Ramiro Salas, whose experience spans enterprise software, security, compliance, and AI.
Ramiro Salas, Founder & CEO
Ramiro founded Hextropian to combine AI-assisted reading with deterministic formal reasoning, preserving the evidence and reasoning behind conclusions so they can be inspected and defended.
His career spans more than three decades in infrastructure and security, including early ISP and telecommunications work in Chile and engineering leadership roles at Ascend, Lucent, VMware, and Pivotal.
At VMware, Ramiro was the security engineering technical lead for the Tanzu portfolio of enterprise Kubernetes platforms. At Pivotal, he was Product Lead for Cloud Foundry Networking and a member of the Cloud Foundry Security Council.
Ramiro began working with symbolic AI in the late 1980s, building expert systems in Prolog and LISP. That experience informs Hextropian’s deterministic AI approach today.
Ramiro has held a CISSP certification since 2012 and is an angel investor with Alliance of Angels.
